About the Role
As a Cook, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards.
* Ensuring food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
* Assisting in menu planning and development.
* Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
* Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food service.
* Managing inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid open work permit in Canada with a minimum of 10 months validity.
Proven cooking experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
Culinary training or relevant certifications are an asset.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
